Fibrenamics and the ballistic protection products developed under the AuxDefense project for the Ministry of National Defense were featured in the Army Day celebrations that took place from October 20 to 28 in Guimarães.

The event “Army – Technological Partner”, which served as a start to the celebrations in the Palace of the Dukes, had the presentation and demonstration of the various projects of technological scope that the Army is undergoing, as is the case of Auxdefense, and that for Ana Santos Pinto, Secretary of State for National Defense, “are achievements that all of us should be proud of and that serve as an example of what the potential of the Armed Forces and Army is, but also what is the potential for export , through consortia.”

The AuxDefense consortium received the Army Tested quality seal for AuxDefense products (ballistic helmet and vest, knee pads and elbow pads) from the Secretary of State and Army Chief of Staff General Nunes da Fonseca. A certification template of the Army General Staff’s responsibility that certifies approved products in the most stringent tests of endurance and usability, by bringing together the most advanced materials levels to generate comfort and durability that far exceeds regular standards.

AuxDefense products were still on display during the week of commemorations and paraded in the Military Ceremony, which was attended by the Minister of National Defense, João Gomes Cravinho, with the military that will soon leave on mission.
